Michele Jalbert founded the Effective Advocates Collaborative to offer an alternative to the traditional practice of government affairs, drawing on her lobbying, communications and organizational behavior experience. Her approach emphasizes analysis of the environment in which decisions are made, identification of opinion leaders/decision-makers and development of effective strategies to influence outcomes. She brings decades of experience, along with expansive political, corporate and non-profit networks to the Effective Advocates consulting practice.
An attorney, she has an extensive policy background informed by her work as Director of Congressman Bill Delahunt’s Washington, DC office and as Chief of Staff and General Counsel for the New England Council, the nation’s oldest regional business association. Prior to her work on Capitol Hill, Michele led communications, human resources and employee relations departments for international companies such as Liberty Mutual and Polaroid Corporation. She graduated from Bates College, Suffolk University Law School and Northwestern University’s Kellogg Management Institute program.
Currently, her practice spans a broad range of work in the clean tech sector, as well other diverse clients.
